Just wondering whether anyone still uses mouse invertAnyone Play with inverted mouse anymore?
The only thing anyone would use it for IMO is for flight sims... cause it's like a joystick kindaAnyone Play with inverted mouse anymore?
No, I always found that it feels funny.
The last time I used inverted mouse was while playing Jane's FA18 Hornet a couple years ago:P
The only time I used inverted mouse was on games that the mouse was inverted at default. I would use the inverted mouse feature to make it work normaly.

always !!!! i never stop using it since Yeager ;) I should stop playing if they remove the option from the menu in fact ! It's feel more natural to me like this. hummmm i remember playing Mechwarrior in ''normal'' mode, but it's the only game that i played like that.
Only in games where it feels naturally that down means up and up means down - flight sims (pushing those thingies on the wings down means going up... and vice versa).
I have a friend that still plays with the mouse in inverted mode.
I play all FPSs inverted
inverted here, nothing else will do.
inverted here, nothing else will do.
Me too. Not sure where I picked it up, I think maybe Duke3d had it as a default setting (which I played A LOT) but I never bothered to check so far. Maybe someone here knows? Anyway, I tried not doing it but it just doesn't feel right. I could probably loose the habit if I persisted but every game has the option so I always use it..
How can one play with inverted mouse controls? Maybe for flight simulators, but first person shooters? I don't see it happening, lol.

Exactly, just as in a flight sim, pulling back on the stick makes you go up. It just kinda makes sense.
Furthermore, if you look at it from a science perspective, inverted aiming in an FPS is actually technically easier than normal aiming. The reason for this is that it is much easier to pull something than to push it, so it's actually easier to drag the mouse downward than it is to push it up. Therefore, downward movement of the mouse should point your view in whichever direction it would be most beneficial to aim. In really ''flighty'' games like Quake or UT, you get attacked from above a lot, so it makes sense that you'd want to be able to look up as swiftly as possible. In games like Battlefield or CS, on the other hand, there isn't much of a vertical element to the environments, so it probably doesn't make much difference.
My $0.02, anyway. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. ;)
no, it feels inverted. :
|No, can't even play X3 that way, and that's default.. I have to change it to non-inverting, like my favorite op-amp! Woo
Hell no. I have hated inverted mouse since the first time I ran into it.
no, it only makes the game about a dozen times harder....
