the game was working 2 hours before and now suddenly half way loading through the game, i get that, and i got it to load once but i got like 15 FPS for some reason, now it loads and gets stuck at halfwayWTF KIND OF ERROR IS THAT?! DOESN'T SEEM SANE?!?! OMG i got 2GB of ram it says 4GB... maybe it means something elseits not my specs, cause i had this for over a year.i also checked Google for answers, some say a lot of people have this problem with BF2 and some on BF2142, some say delete a file called Overgrowth? or it's a BF modification?i didn't DL any modifications for 2142, and i don't know what or where Overgrowth is, memory.dll SANITY CHECK WTFFFF BF2142

delete cache in My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cacheIf you have a dual core cpu try this
Enter game menu, ALT/TAB to desktop, CTRL/ALT/DEL, Processes tab, right click BF2142, select ''Set affinity'', un-select one of the two cores.
i don't have dual core, should i try it anyways?

That was a common problem in Battlefield 2142. Did you reinstall the game without clearing the cache? Delete it as the previos poster said and it shoudl be fine.
I seems as if it thinks you're wanting to change the ''heap size'' or that is, how much stuff is loaded into RAM, which in this case, seems to be 4gb worth?

Common problem? Here is a fix.. pop out the disk.. hold it in both hands.. and snap it in half, then NEVER buy another EA game again :)

Do you by chance have an Asus motherboard?

Do you by chance have an Asus motherboard?[/QUOTE]I have no idea, my uncle hooked it up, but at the startup I think I saw MSI?I've restarted my computer like 34532534 times in the pass few hours and don't even remember it =pAlso, I tried deleting my Folder in MY DOCUMENTS but all it did was make it laggier in the menu and delete my settings... but I think the laggy menus is fixed atleast,also, I loaded A BIT more but it just stops after.and also again, BF2142 EA forums lot of people have the problems and they're the ones who said to delete the folder in my documents
I'd hate to point out the obvious... but try reinstalling?
