Any strong single player RTS games?

Are there any recent strong single player RTS games that were just released or are all of them mainly focused on multiplayer online with single player an after thought?Nothing against online play but I really enjoy a good single player story that I can follow in a series. This is a large part of why I enjoyed Starcraft and Warcraft 3 and their expansions so much.Thanks.Any strong single player RTS games?
most recent RTS's have been very focused towards multiplayer, even more so then FPS's.I heard C%26C3 has a nice singplayer, so does COH.....dont get Supcom for the singleplayer though.Any strong single player RTS games?
Probably C%26C3.

Playing CoH right now. SP is pretty good.

Dark Crusade SP can be addicting... ...for a while. In my case, the ''Three Basilisks'' thing kicked in and I stopped playing completely.
Company of Heroes %26 Command and Conquer 3, definately.

Rome: Total War has an excellent single player campaign and great custom battles.

Edit: How could I forget homeworld? If you want to play through one of the best storylines ever, get that game.
Excellent game, from Relic.
I found Dragonshard to have a pretty good singleplayer campaign. Very good level design. Its a decent game overall.Company of Heroes and Medieval 2 have good single too.
COH and C%26C are great single players. I hardly play RTS games online.
Just how long are some of these games? Oh I've played Homeworld and a demo of Total War (to much going on for my taste and I kinda like base building which I didn't see from the demo of Medieval 2: Total War).
Good RTS single players i'd say any C%26C game, Starcraft, company of heroes, and there are probably a bunch of other ones
Company of Heroes has a decent lengthed campaign, IMO. Full of intense firefights. After that, skirmish and multiplayer will keep you hooked for a long time.
Warhammer 40k - Great story, makes you want to beat missions so you can see what happens next.Rise of Nations - No story to speak of, but you play on a world map (like risk). I think this is a good concept, as it brings another level of strategy to the game.
Company of Heros dude the greatest game
A lot of people say that the CoH single player is really good although I never cared for it. The skirmish is still keeping my attention.
I heard that about COH as well. I don't know why people don't like SupCom's singleplayer. I find the singleplayer very intense and mind-boggling. CnC 3 singleplayer is just annoying after a while. Towards the end, it was torture playing it. However, in my opinion, the best RECENT singleplayer RTS is Act of War: Direct Action and High Treason. Both have great storylines and cool units. Lots of flash AND substance (for all you cliche-saying gamers) Plus, Act of War probably cost less than 20 so it's a bargain!
Blizzard really puts tons of resources into their single player campaign cutscenes in Starcraft, if you haven't already played that-- lot of value their for 10 bux or so, it's so old.Of course, multiplayer destroyes single in any RTS.

Warcraft 2 and it's expansion which I believe comes in the battle.net edition. Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos along with Frozen Throne Expansion. Starcraft along with it's expansion. All worth the single player journey.
i enjoyed both Age of Empires 2 and Age of Empires 3 single player. CoH single player i did not care for, and im not much of a warcraft fan, so Warcraft 3 and expansion pack did nothing for me.
Though not entirely RTS, Rome Total War, Medieval 2 Total War are two games that you will play longer then 99% of any of the single players in RTS's.
Act of War also had a nice story and single player.
C%26C3 has a pretty nice SP campaign, although it's more of the same compared to the former C%26C games. If you liked the older ones, your bound to like C%26C3.Supreme Commander is also a pretty solid RTS, but the single player campaign is very short and is quite dissapointing. Still, skirmish mode should make you a real happy gamer. The game has awesome units and huuuuge maps.If I had to choose I would pick C%26C3. It's really that good.
I would say Rome Total War or Medieval 2 TW.Technically they aren't RTS's but they have very good single player and have loads of mods (RTW has more).I wont say CoH because like 10 people have already said it :P and personally, I think its a little overrated.
