Does anybody know how i can get a cd key for the beta?:oops:ET Quake Wars Beta
I think you need to be a FilePlanet user or subscriber, but I do not know for sure. Maybe there's somebody here that knows a lot more about the Quake Wars Beta than me, maybe they can tell you more.ET Quake Wars Beta
There are 60000 keys for Fileplanet. 30000 for subscribers. For the normal subscribers these aren't up yet, but if you subscribe for an anual subscription today you'll get one right away.30000 for non-subscribers, but a couple of days later than the other ones. Also the ET community site will most likely be handing out keys aswell.

What do we look out for exactly ... never had any luck with Jumping on public betas :(
so if i updraded my quarterly subscription to a yearly one for 45$ more... i could be playing quake wars right now?
it doesnt need to be annual, i dont think. i've gotten into every public beta just by getting a monthly sub.
the public should be out very soon.
I downloaded Gamespy Comrade, because the Fileplanet page says it will tell me when Public beta key page is up for free subscribers .... but I bet I wont know how to set it up to do so xD

Timezone is probably PST, or you can refresh File Planet every minute.But you will be dissapointed by the beta, We'll be very fortunate to see this game get released anytime soon. I think if this game wants to live up to it's hype they need atleast 1~3 months of polishing and balancing. It made me wonder what they have been doing in the closed and clan beta.

I think I'll just wait. I never have fun in beta's because I always run into some problem that makes it unplayable.
Yup im downloading mine but normallyevery beta i've played has been soooo crap and a big letdown
