Wow, I love this game! Thx for the great news, 2.50 is pretty cheap too! I always went to my friends house to play this game, even though he had other games lke GRAW 2 and PGR. Hah, I even considered buying a 360 because of this game....nvm about that now. :)

I actually got it for free here on my computer right after it got released, now I notice it's only 2.50. That's freaking cheap you know. I got the game on the 360 and I payed 5. And the game rocks hard.
Bought the game today to pass some free time. Its pretty fun, even though I'm terrible at it. My High score is only 101,050, and on most rounds I'm only scoring 40,000-60,000. Still, I feel its $2.50 well spent.
yea this game is mega addictiveIf you can get to 100,000 without dieing or useing a bomb your doing good, after 100,000 the game gets pretty hard, and you have to stay alive to keep your multiplier...

The game is a lot of fun. Can't go wrong when it's only $2.50. I have it for the 360 and it's very addicting but i just recently got it for my computer and it's still just as good. Miss the achievement markers though since it was pretty intense trying to get some of them on the 360 and added to the fun imo.If you haven't played this game before i highly recommend it on either the 360 or the pc
My highest scrore was only 650,000 got to 500,000 without losing a life. Are the controls as solid as the 360 version?

The mouse for aiming feels weird so i just use the keyboard but if memory serves right you can just slap in a 360 controller. So its the same thing just no achievements
Does anybody know how to make the playing field the same as my screen resolution? I mean like I want to see all four corners of the field at once. I've tried locking the aspect and tried different resolutions, but the playing field always seem larger than the resolution.

It's a fixed view where you can only see part of the gride.

So its the same thing just no achievements[/QUOTE]I got my controls setup with the mouse and keyboard combo.WASD controls the movement and I get a crosshair for my gun. Works out well when you want to shoot all the differnt angles.

I bought it when it came out when it was $10 :( Geometry Wars is an awesome game, but without any kind of online ranking it's fairly pointless. Stack that ontop of not having the retro mode the XBLA version has (which only costs $5) = I got ripped off. $2.50 seems like the right price for what we get.
I played on my computer with the 360 controller. I also liked to have the option to make the grid the same size as my screen resolution in the beggining but now I've gotten used to it and I wouldn't change it. If any of you is wondering which version to get then well... Get the PC version if you play your 360 in a SDTV. Other than that get the 360 version.
