Men this ****

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/795/795776p1.htmlNew americas army going to be exclusive to the 360:evil: they say there will be a wider audiance when most of the people who owns a 360 are kids and teenagers who only play arcadey games like Halo and gears of war. Hope they make a PC version or I'm going to be really mad and upset.Men this ****
Yea I don't see how doing this will make the new AA appeal to a wider audience. The biggest console shooters are shallow mindless run and gun arcade games. If they wanted to appeal to a wider audience they should make it multiplatform.Men this ****

they are making a new version for the PC...running off of Unreal Engine 3.

the first one is still popular online and it's free.

It's not a big deal. The game is only popular because it's free. I definitely wouldn't pay for it.

Everytime a FPS is announced on a console people are like: ''WTF! Why isn't it on PC?''Then when it's finally ported to the PC people are like: ''WTF! This sucks! Why was it ported to the PC?''The devs made up their minds! It's going to be a console game, which means it's going to be dumbed down compared to a PC version. Do you really want to play it?

the army already trains troops using the 360, and actually use the 360 controller to control vehicles in the field.
It makes perfect sense on why it would be on the 360.

[/QUOTE] From a marketing standpoint, that's the idea. It's a gamble, like any business strategy, butyou earn the biggest whallup by targeting or awakening an un-tapped hunger. Make console gamers discover, with your game, that they love tactical shooters, and earn a huge, instant foothold in a new or growing market.
Wider audience my ass, they want to appeal to a younger audience.

I could be wrong, but I think the avergae PC gamer age is problably around 32 or so while the average console gamer age is problably 20.

Older people get older; have kids, get sick, perish. Younger people keep being born.
Who cares the game is **** anyway.......Dear oh dear.....
