BTW, for those who may not know, I'm talking about Battlefield Bad Company. If not, why? It's been best on the PC since it's first release and I've been waiting some time for it too.
The Bad Company not comming to PC?
It's a different game designed specifically for consoles. It wouldn'tbe coming to the Pc just like Battlefield Modern Combat. The Bad Company not comming to PC?
no console only but battlefield on the PC is better
These kind of things really pisses me off! Why would anyone release a real FPS (im not talking about crap like Halo or The Darkness) on console only when the FPS genre is almost unplayable with a gamepad. It really doesn't make sense for DICE to not release it for PC.
This stuff kinda scares me, what if everyone stop making PC games and forces us to play on a crappy console where we have to pay for stuff that's suppose to be free, like play online.
That is why it is better to have a PC and a PS3 like me. :D
I think the next battlefield game should be melee combat only, like Battlefield: Shogun or Battlefield: MedievalIdunno, but honestly, how is BF2142 different from BF2 and different from BF Vietnam and different from BF 1942? Besides the setting and upgrades system, I mean.
I think Battlefield 2 is the best so far because it's using the present weapons, I don't like the games based on future technology.I hope the next Battlefield will be like 2 not like 2142

nah. They'll just make a whole different Battlefield game with a new engine and such.
i have that certain distinct feeling that we will get a full blown Battlefield 3... no pansy prefixes or saucy suffixes.... just a straight up BF2 sequel...
i have that certain distinct feeling that we will get a full blown Battlefield 3... no pansy prefixes or saucy suffixes.... just a straight up BF2 sequel...
Battlefield series startedwith 1942 to Vietnam and then modern combat. Battlefield 2142 was the perfect sequel in the series and the game is great.
Meh, it's an entirely new Battlefield title...it will probably play and feel like it's meant for a console. I don't think PC Gamers will be missing out that much.
wikipedia says info about PC %26 PSP version will be released later.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield_Bad_Company

Its fictitious, but its got that same gritty combat feeling BF2 has. And I love the unlock tree a lot better.Call me crazy but I think Battlefield 3142 would be freaking sweet. You could duke it on Mars or an asteroid mine, while protecting your respective capital ships a la Titan Mode as in BF 2142. Sure, its a little corny and maybe too scifi for some people, but it would be awesome.Just imagine spawning on your captial ship and playing a little defense, then jumping onto a dropship (''we're on an express elevator to hell....going DOWN!'') piloted by a teammate where you get dropped off onto the planets surface, then the pilot orbits the dropzone providing suppressive fire with rockets and ''doorgunners''. You could fight over alien artifacts, resources, etc.Weapons could be both ballistic and energy (like lasers)...personally I would prefer standard rounds for weapons but maybe the antitank rifle could be a lasergun or something (pew pew pew!). I would also like to see a class system based around light, medium, and heavy armor like in Tribes, where armaments are dependent on your armor rating. Heavy could use anything, such as heavy machine gunsbut are slow; medium armor has assault rifles and rockets, and are the engineers;and light is limited to medical stuff, light rifles, and submachine gunsIdunno, just throwing it out there. Dunno about Bad Company though; how is the gameplay and content going to be different from BF2? Its a conventional setting with weapons or variations of weapons found in BF2 it seems.I also want to see 150+ person multiplayer!!! That was great fun with Joint Operations and still is though its lack of popularity limits the game to 2-3 servers with 100+ people. With a popular game like the BF series, there would be dozens of 100+ servers. This would lead to increased map size as well, which imo is always good (and the maps could be scaled down as they currently are in games, i.e. 150, 100, 64, 32, 16).
All they need to do is remake BF2 with new shader effects, better textures (true parallax for the win!), and lots of the DirectX 10 features. :D
