I am indeed looking into bringing back the game that spawned the Fallout series. Stay tuned....
''June 13, 2003: Brian Fargo and his new game company, inXile, acquire the rights to Wasteland with the United States Patent Office. Soon after, Mr. Fargo shows up at Snake Squeezins to ask for comments about the game from its loyal fans. He notes the reason he didn't get the rights sooner was that Electronic Arts was sitting on them. When they expired, Konami grabbed it for use with their Yu-Gi-Oh series, but they were kind enough to let him have the trademark back. And the new Wasteland will be ''darker in nature than the first one,'' and touts that it will be ''very much an old school RPG that uses the skill systems, open ended nature of design, and puts the player into a world that is not black and white but shades of grey.'' Soon after joining Squeezins, he bails out as others were cross-posting his posts to other forums, and I guess he didn't like that. ''One to watch out for!! I will like to see beths face now!!even though have to wait 5 years or something!!Good news anyway!!Brian Fargo new Project !!Wasteland 2!!FAllout!!
Thats cheered me up after this recent Fallout 3 debacleBrian Fargo new Project !!Wasteland 2!!FAllout!!
Maybe there is a god afterall. I remember playing Wasteland on an old Apple IIe. Great game and great times. Wasteland was my first real computer RPG.

Thats great news! If they are working on Wasteland, I would like to see either a Wasteland Remake or a Wasteland 2, but I don't care which one it would be, just give me something post-apocalyptic. :P
That's pretty cool, so with this and Fallout 3, looks like there's plenty of post-apocolyptica goodness coming our way hopefully. Should at least (probably...possibly....maybe...not) slow down the current bandwagon of it's ''cool to hate bethesda of ruining Fallout'' which seems to be the current online trend.
Thank GOD!, finally an old-school RPG, thou i never played Wasteland, i loved Fallout 1 and 2, this is gonna be good...
The Fallout 3 haters are selfish douche-bags. They should be happy that we're even getting a Fallout 3, and they all know that they'll pirate it, just to test it out, and will end up secretly loving it.People really love complaining about games they've never played.
Sort of like people who love singing the praises of a game they've never played, eh?

You know, at the end of the day, all I want is Baldur's Gate 3. Even more than a Fallout sequel, spiritual or not.
YES!!! Go Brian!!
It might work if it's traditional PC-only RPG, if they go multiplatform and consolize it..well just take a look at their Bard's Tale :(
Yeah Provided this stays PC only and isn't dumbed down then this should be great. Well at least we should be getting a game that will actually be more like Fallout than Fallout 3 will be.
