Probobly Max, I'd be surprised if you didn't since my crappy rig plays it low-medium
Probobly Max, I'd be surprised if you didn't since my crappy rig plays it low-medium
he can't play at max. I have a 7600GT and can't play it maxed out at 1152x864. My average framerate at that setting is usually aorund the mow 20's and sometimes even the mid to high teens. This was with a fresh format and new install of windows too.
Definitely not maxed-out. For that, he'd need:

-Something along the lines of a GeForce 7900 or Radeon X1800, but preferably a GeForce 8800 GTS

-2 GB of RAM (BF2 is a RAM hog)

-SoundBlaster X-Fi or the upcoming Auzentech Prelude (yes, I consider using the best sound settings part of running maxed-out, and to do that with BF2, you need a card based on the X-Fi chip)

You must have low tolerance for framerates or something, as I have a better rig than you and can't max it out at all, let alone at 1280x960. What is your average FPS?(Not your maximum or the average when you are basically all alone)And to remove tearing you have to turn vsync on, although I think you can only access it through the bf2 .ini
