Call of Duty 4 vs. Battlefield 2

I know it's really too early to really say much of anything about CoD 4, but given that Infinity Ward did a good job on the originals, I'd imagine CoD 4 will be a great game.How do you feel this game is going to stack up say against Battlefield 2? Call of Duty 4 vs. Battlefield 2
I was dissapointed horribly by the second CoD but who knows how Infinity Ward is going to take on the modern combat scene. After all, maybe they can actually make something close to the awesomeness of the first CoD....Call of Duty 4 vs. Battlefield 2
Two totaly differnt types of games. BF is more stratigy and teamwork, where as COD is jump in spray people in thier face and leave server. Im speaking of Multiplayer of course. Also the no vehicles in COD2 kinda sets it apart from BF.

I had a lot of fun just jumping into the jeep and going roadrage crazy with it. In fact, I enjoyed a lot of the things that Gray Matter put into the expansion pack that Infinity should have kept in the sequel. Sprint, flame throwers, the three new multiplayer modes, nade cooking...
cod4's graphics looks exactly like cod2, a pretty old game now, prob will be another hold on your trigger till you die game and throw 100 nades over a wall game
I'm doubting that you've actually seen the game screens. If you have you're either a liar or nuts. Or both.
they cannot compair, cod4 is totally different and it looks like it willleave bf2in the dust.... I already reserved my copy of cod4

well it seems like everyone in this thread (BF fanboys) are comparing bf2 to COD2 and not COD4. I find it hard to compare the to especially at this point since little is known about it. Plus by the time it will be released will be a 5-6 yr dated game so you comparison will be tougher.
CoD3 = crap
I really hope this isnt just another BF2 remake, the first thing that came to my mind when i saw the trailer was BF2. To me its kinda dissapointing, although WWII has been beaten to death by video games, i think CoD is the only one that could keep coming out with WWII games and no one would complain, although we would prabably take it for granted and say that CoD needs to move on from WWII, if they keep the formula right, the new releases would be hit sellers. BUT they messed up the formula with cod2, i dont know what they were thinking when they took away sprinting and nade cooking, but im sure this subject has also been beaten to death. Although, im sure CoD4 is going to be a hit seller, but only because of the name it comes with it, but will die out with hardcore fans that play for skill because of the lack of a weapon that was vital in early CoD, the rifle. becuase we're all going to complain about spraying with m16's and all the modern fully automatic weapoins, the rifle is one that required skill to shot a moving target at a distance, in my opinion the lack of a rifle will impact this game. in conclusion i dont think many of us asked for Cod4:MC i know for me all i wanted was for them to build on CoD:UO and improve on it. CoD2 shoulda been UO with better graphics and new maps, but insted they turned COD into a game with a big pop in the beginning but burns out soon after.
