Should I get it? People talk about it like it's the second coming of Christ.BTW, I like KoTOR and Oblivion. This game does look pretty cool though. Is Diablo worth it?
I started playing Diablo 2 about a week and a half ago and the game is quite addicting. I bought both the original and the expansion for 9.99 each in Gamestop.I definetly recommend it.Is Diablo worth it?
diablo is old, it's not incredibly long but it's solid fun. graphics are slightly dated but it's probably $10 so it's worth it.
I spent a long long time with D2:LOD and it was definately the best RPG experience I've had. It's definately fun in a clan and I'd recommend at least finding some people to play with regularly because otherwise it can be somewhat lonely until you're good.
The game will get repetitive, and your gona need to follow some builds online because if you mess up your character will suck. Other then that though its a very fun game and finding rare's is quite exciting. You don't really need a clan but it does obviously add to the fun factor.
if you have people to play with, you will become a diablo junkie
IF you got friends that play it and Team Speak or Ventrillo it isa complete blast!! Get Diablo 2 and LOD expansion
NEWS ALERT!!! GET IT, DIABLO LADDER RESETS ON 6/25/07
Is Diablo worth it? hmm for 10 USD? Unless you think 2 Homestyle Burger Combos Supersized w/ 2 hot apple pies is worth more than Diablo.. then go drive to McDonalds. (this includes the price of gas/petro) Actually, that would buy you one of those combos in Europe.. Bah, what the hell its 10 bucks! That's less than a price of a T-shirt!
not its not worth it. buy another game.
Totally worth it, it's my favourite PC game (Diablo II)
Yeah its worth it. As long as you don't go into Baal rush games
Personally, I think it is a terrible game. It's VERY repetitive. Click, click, click, click...that's gameplay?Anyhow, for only $10, it's probably worth checking out and deciding for yourself.

At 10 dollars it is definately worth it (if it includes expansion). Even in 10 years there will still be enough people playing it to make a game or two and have fun. 100% worth it, not to mention its a must have collection piece. We are talking about Diablo 2, right? Diablo 1 is definately not worth it though.
Personnally, I think it's quite boring. It's repetitive, unoriginal...but it's well made.If you expect an RPG, DON'T play it. This is an action game with an XP system, nothing more.

If you have never played it, as it seem so I'd recommend it yes. it's very cheap now, however instead of first Diablo i would suggest you play Diablo II + Lod expansion. You will not miss much from first Diablo, the second one is a great improvement. Both Diablo II and expansion can be bundled together with even Diablo I for about 20 bucks. So, my recommendation is: Install Diablo II and expansion and game on! You will have all classes and improvements over first Diablo.

Plus it ran w/o a 3D card..didn't even require one. Heck BG2 didn't require a 3D card either.. released around the same time as D2.
Diablo II + LoD is the best game ever, when Diablo III is announced I will throw a massive party! I will wait outside the store before they open! The thing about Diablo II is that there are items that are pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to get. When you do find one of those though, it's like you get high or something. Try playing hardcore, so that if you die once you're dead forever. The suspense is incredible, nearly escaping death. Then when you die because you wanted to save that potion, and you lose 3 months of work, you feel pretty empty inside. Games that make you feel, are good :)Is it worth it? Yeah probably, unfortunately the game is EXTREMELY plagued by cheats online. You practically wont find anyone who doesn't use maphack, and super items get duped and are everywhere. It's a pretty sad state
